Kanu, Born 1/8/1976: Attacking Midfielder/Forward
Kanu can be an unbelievable player when he is at his best. The football seems to be stuck to his feet,
and he avoids tackles with ease. He can send players the wrong way just by dropping his shoulders,
and despite not being the quickest, can take the ball past defenders effortlessly.
He has a powerful shot, can hold play up well, and can play creative passes to set up chances for other players.
Despite being brilliant when at his best, he is quite inconsistent, and often doesn't really seem to be trying.
He can also try to take the ball past too many players and end up losing it, when he could have played a simple pass.
I'm not sure whether he is good enough to be a permanent replacement for Dennis Bergkamp, but he has youth on his side,
and also has a lot of experience at the highest levels.
