Dennis Bergkamp, Born 10/5/1969: Attacking Midfielder/Forward

Brilliant player, technically superb. Very creative, and capable of very effective through-balls. Very much a team player, but at his best is an unstoppable individual. I think this was best demonstrated in his hat-trick against Leicester in our Double winning season. His qualities are brilliant control, creative passing, clean finishing and he can run past defenders with ease. His disadvantages are that he is not keen to head the ball, there are often question marks over his team commitment, and he is becoming increasingly inconsistent as he gets older. Kanu and Barrett are potential replacements but they will never fill the boots of Bergkamp, who is one of the all time Arsenal greats.
